Children and Youth

Jesus said to them, “Let the little children come to me; do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the Kingdom of God belongs.” Mark 10:14

Main Street United Methodist Church strives to engage children and youth in activities and programs that will nurture their growth spiritually, physically, mentally and socially. Children and Youth are involved in a variety of ministries, each with the specific goal of helping children to grow in their understanding of what it means to be children of God. From Sunday School to Youth Group to Summer activities, Main Street is where children are loved and valued.

Sunday School

Main Street offers Sunday School for all ages. You can be assured that your child will be well cared for in an age-appropriate setting as he or she learns about Jesus in one of our Sunday School classes.

Nursery Supervisor: Danika Miller

The nursery and all children's classes are on the ground floor of the church. The Youth meet in the Sanctuary first, and then go to their meeting spot on the second floor.

Children's Sunday School takes a Bible story and presents the lesson in a unique way each Sunday, using a story, art, science, cooking, music, mission and/or games. Youth Sunday School presents scripture and relates it to a current event or topic through a meaningful discussion. Each week is different – you don’t want to miss it!

UMYF - United Methodist Youth Fellowship

Youth in grades 3 - 12 are welcome to participate in our Sunday afternoon youth ministries. We meet each week from 4-6 pm, offering a variety of activities that challenge them to explore how their faith connects with their everyday lives. Our Youth Program builds a sense of community that helps to foster friendships and encourages spiritual development. Whether participating in Sunday School, UMYF, a Missions Ministry or a Weekend Event, youth at Main Street deepen their faith through hands-on experiences, prayer and worship.

COME JOIN US - WE'RE LOOKING FORWARD TO MEETING YOU THIS SUNDAY!
